Artist's Comments

Lake Superior, Duluth, Minnesota. This big ol' ship is an ore boat, carrying something like 14,000 tons of iron ore. As for our friend here, I'd call this a defeat.
I'm kind of nervous about this one. I like it, but I wasnt sure if it would spark anyone elses interest, so I wasnt sure if I wanted to post it. However, ~smurfette1333's reaction was positive enough, so I'll take a shot at it. This was taken from right outside a lighthouse. This big ol ship, The Algowood, was on its way to going under the famous Duluth Lift Bridge. Just barely made it, seriously.

Also, you really should full view this, it became very small and loses full effect I think.

n_n I love teh angle! I live in Michigan on Lake Huron, and I go to Superior frequently! he angle is great, and you couldn't of asked for a calmer day.

Thankyou, and it was lucky. He was with some girl in another one, and there were going out onto the lake and laughing and talking, and then ol' Algowood started coming in, and they weren't talking so much as staring. Tourists.
